Swifites wouldn’t hesitate if the pop behemoth took over the entire Earth’s soundtrack because of how powerful her reign is. Banks sees a blockbuster glow-up and a wave of ticket sales, but she’s not simply fantasising in pop lyrics.

What captivated Banks enough to cast the queen of periods in this legendary revival, even if Swift could effortlessly transform a cinematic classic into a cultural reset that would top the charts?

Tyra Banks had Taylor Swift on repeat during a recent episode of Today with Jenna & Friends, which aired on Monday, April 14.

This was particularly true when talking about the impending Bodyguard remake. She responded, “I think Taylor Swift, because business and commerce, art, and she would freakin’ sell like crazy,” when asked who she believes should play Rachel Marron in the reboot, replacing Whitney Houston.

Idris Elba was another name Banks had that she would have loved to have opposite Swift. She admitted that Kevin Costner, who played

Frank Farmer in the original, and Houston, who was black, are white. She would, however, adore Swift and Elba portraying the corresponding roles if she were given a creative flip.

Banks’ vision was evident to the host, Jenna Bush Hager, who commented that it would be “so hot” to see Swift and Elba perform opposite one another on the big screen.

Have Idris Elba and Taylor Swift ever appeared together on screen? By name and notoriety, Taylor Swift is a musical genius.

She would, however, perform equally well if she were to finally cross the pond, as seen by the numerous occasions she has appeared in fan-castings, assumptions, debates, and hypotheses about film. However, viewers may get to see them on film again after Cats because to Tyra Banks’ proposal for the pop princess to co-star with Idris Elba in the Bodyguard adaptation.
